Wow! I had planned to go back to KIH and bird an hour or so and it payed off:
Bay-breasted Warbler - 3
Chestnut-side Warbler - 1 (with the chestnut still there!)
Blackburnian Warbler - 2
Yellow-throated Warbler - 2
Northern Parula
Black-and-white Warbler
Palm Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
American Redstart
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher
Red-eyed Vireo
Summer Tanager - 1
Scarlet Tanager - 6
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 12!
Baltimore Oriole
Swainson's Thrush
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Indigo Bunting
Painting Bunting
Highlight of the day: Fruiting Virginia creeper, at nearly eye-level, with Summer and Scarlet Tanagers, Swainson's and Gray-cheeked Thrushes, Baltimore Oriole, and many Rose-breasted Grosbeaks feeding on it.
Made me think of the tropics.
I think Toe is still recovering from Monday's adventure.
