I was in the area and decided to pass by. There were more mosquitoes than birds but still managed to find a few birds from the rain soaked trees. I celebrated because the catbird was my FOS - with a glass of cabernet ( the filter will not let me write the details...)
Gray Catbird ( 1)
Northern Cardinals (3)
Red-eyed Vireo (2)
Palm Warbler ( 2 or maybe 5)
Black and White warbler (2)
Gnatcatcher (2)
Red-breasted woodpecker (1, heard)
Mosquitoes ( at least 100)
Cat (1)
Do we now have cats at this park?
Ok, I could skip work tomorrow and to to Bill Baggs and SEE warblers galore.
