This morning a female Wilson's Warbler was seen along with some other goodies on campus. New around here were Yellow Warbler and the Wilson's. There was an influx of Gray Catbirds, Palm Warblers and both species of bunting this morning along with many Monarch Butterflies. The Wilson's was very cooperative and fed in the same area of a fig tree for about fifteen minutes. A dark morph juvi Short-tailed Hawk circled overhead along with a few other birds of prey. Besides the Short-tailed Hawk, a few Broad-wingeds, Osprey, Red-shouldered, and Merlin were migrating south overhead.

More birds will be on the way tonight, we are hoping that more birds put down tomorrow morning than today. Stay tuned to badbirdz for more migration information.
