This afternoon (1600) I was grubbing around in the BBKBSRA
(Baggs) hoping for a better photo of Westy. I saw a mid-sized bird, accompanied by a vireo.sp, as was the Western Spindalis when I had my first view on Fri. Alas, success was not to be repeated. The bird was a flycatcher with a prominent crest, but the tail was not rufous, that I could see. When photos are processed, this may change. Breast had lots or yellow, so I can't use the "L-S" word. I was wearing a blue-and-white striped (bidness) shirt so was not in proper skulking/stalking clothes and the bird moved as soon as I had a clear view of it. It stayed low, on the ground at times.
