Sunday 10-2-2011 Woodmont Natural Area, Tamarac

Screech Owl- 1 ( calling)
Brown thrasher-2
YELLOW BELLIED FLYCATCHER-1 ( Heard calling for 20 mins early this am, we could not get close to the bird for a view..thebird was giving its territorial and often migration call of "chu-wee" mellow and distinct not a sick or immature Wood Pewee) THe bird did not give its "Chebunk" winter and communication call.

Woodmont is attracting a regular group of birders, good birds have been seen by Joel Willcox, Holly, and Nancy. Its great to see people out birding.
