I birded Woodmont this morning from about 7:30 to 9. There was a good variety of warblers and other migrants. Most of the action was on the east side where the sidewalk bisects the trail going west, before the boardwalk. Birds seen:
American Redstart
Black-throated blue
Blue-gray(gnaturally)
Black and white
CANADA
CHESTNUT-SIDED
Common Yellowthroat
Northern Parula
Ovenbird
Pine
Prairie
Also, Red-eyed Vireo, Brown Thrasher,Downy Woodpecker and some more common species.
