A nice variety of migrants were seen during this morning's TAS walk at AD Barnes Park. The group saw twelve species of warblers, including Chestnut-sided; had we relocated the Blackburnian and Blackpoll Warblers found earlier in the morning by Kevin Sarsfield, our warbler total would have reached fourteen. Not only that, but everyone's car survived the walk unscathed!

Our tally included:
Cooper's Hawk
Merlin
Red-masked Parakeet
Chuck-will's-widow
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Empidonax sp. (possibly "Traill's" Flycatcher, which Carlos Sanchez found at the same location yesterday (hammock in the southeast corner of the park)
Great Crested Flycatcher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Barn Swallow
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Northern Parula
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Pine Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Worm-eating Warbler
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
Summer Tanager
Scarlet Tanager (found by Roberto Torres at the aformentioned hammock in the park's southeast corner)

Thanks to Bill Boeringer for leading the walk, even as he continues rehabilitation from recent knee surgery.
