bl. vulture their wing primaries have yellow shaft-road kill observation

glossy ibis. This was a group of about 24. They were circling like kettling. Sometimes they flew pretty high. They would flap a dozen times and then glide a bit. Round sisal pond, gate 17 1:20pm When the flock flipped so I saw the tops of their wings they were very glossy. JI have never seen this. I've only seen them on the ground/shallow water.

snowy egret - mosquitoes got between my glasses and my eyes so I didn't stay there long

South side of the drive into Mahogany Hammock
bald eagle. Altho this was a little distance, it was in very plain view in a dead pine. I had plenty of time to sketch the view. It preened while I watched. I wished for Trey and his camera. It was beautiful.
