Add my name to the growing list of car break-in victims at Miami-Dade County parks. Luckily, the only thing I lost was that new car smell. The police officer who responded to my call told me that undercover police are assigned to the park, but clearly, that strategy is not working.
To add insult to injury, Barnes was not really worth going out of my way for; in 1.5 hours of birding (5:00-6:30pm), I tallied the following:

Black-throated Blue Warbler-2
