I'll let the numbers do the talking. Interpret at your own risk. These are the results for the 9 areas reported so far. Some areas included multiple sites, such at Matheson/Barnes, Lucky Hammock/Annex/Gumbo Limbo/LPK.
Total warbler species seen: 17
Total warbler individuals seen: 203
Avg # warbler species/area: 6.7 (some areas included multiple sites)
Avg # individual warblers/area: 22.6 (I see more in one tree during good migrations)
Most # warbler species seen at one site: 10, Sadowski Park, KIH
Other neotropical species seen and #:
Eastern Wood-Pewee, 1
Acadian Flycatcher, 1
Least Flycatcher, 1
Yellow-throated Vireo, 7
Red-eyed Vireo, 25
Veery, 2
Blue Grosbeak, 1
Summer Tanager, 2
Scarlet Tanager, 1
Baltimore Oriole, 6
Total # other neotropical migrants: 47
Total # species of other neotrop migrants: 10
Average # other neotropical migrants/area: 5.2
Average # other neotropical migrant species/area: 2.6
My personal opinion: if I'd seen all the above in one park, I'd say I had a pretty good migration day, although the lack of marquis warblers or a rarity would have kept my excitement somewhat subdued. I've had quite a few better days than the above in just one migrant trap, so seeing these results for such a large number of sites.......
