I am not exactly sure what is meant by your comment of "professional birders". I am sorry to stir things up again after you asked to drop the subject. But this is not a professional board. We do have many people who many could consider professionals, but there are many who are not, such as me. We often have many people post who are just novices so far. Non-professionals could be discouraged to post in the future.
However, I hope we can all come to a truce, and focus on what this board is about. And we all know what that is, wheather a Mourning Dove or a Mangrove Cuckoo (however Mangrove Cuckoo sightings are more preffered ;) ).
