Four hours of birding this morning gave me 39 Species and 198 individual birds for both parks (including birds seen on the drive from one to the other). Highlights were Blackburnian and Cape May Warblers at Indian Hammocks (both FOS for me), had a total of 10 Warbler species. Highlight moments were Blue Jays harassing an immature Cooper's Hawk, which occasionally went for a jay and missed (at MD College) and several species of birds in one tree harassing an immature Red-shouldered Hawk including Mockingbirds, Jays, a Brown Thrasher, Cardinals, Gnatcatchers, Red-bellied Woodpecker and a Red-eyed Vireo. All this commotion in one tree at Indian Hammocks (and the hawk was also calling). Also noticed that several Gnatcatchers were singing. Also heard a Prairie Warbler sing.
