This morning at Oleta River State Park (North Miami) I saw 3 hawks in the distance circling high above an Australian Pine forest (Gilligans Bike Trail). Two were completely dark and the other had a white rump, so I'm assuming it was a Northern Harrier though I didn't get a good look at it.
I did get a good look at one of the two dark hawks and got a picture of one both perching and circling. I hope someone recognizes it? I heard what sounded like a Red-shouldered call but high pitched and a bit squeaky, but that could have been a Red-shouldered in the distance.
I have 2 pics: one in flight and one perched. Any help would be appreciated!
