What a day it was today, rainy, lighting and even some strong winds, but the weather conditions did not stop me from going out and looking at a few birds today. Here is my list for today.
1. Yellow-billed Cuckoo (I still have not seen or heard a Mangrove Cuckoo in the area in a while. The last time I saw one was on 4/29/04.)
2. Little Blue Heron
3. Purple Martin
4. Green Heron
5. Double-crested Cormorant
6. Laughing Gull
7. Anhinga
8. Snowy Egret
9. Great Egret
10. Mourning Dove
11. Northern Cardinal
12. White Ibis
13. Yellow-crowned night Heron
14. Eurasian-collared Dove
15. Great-crested Flycatcher
16. Blue Jay
17. Cattle Egret
18. White Crown Pigeon
What a good birding day.
