Was only able to bird for an hour this afternoon at the park. Highlights were a Chuck-will's-widow which posed perfectly up close for great looks. What a weird but beautiful bird. Also, histerically screaming Blue Jays and fleeing Common Grackles (must have been feeding quietly overhead as I wasn't aware they were there until the jays called) announced an adult Cooper's Hawk which flew near me and also posed for great and extended looks. In the main hammock had several Ovenbirds, 1 Worm-eating Warbler and a female Summer Tanager.
