It was a typical early September morning at Kendall Indian Hammock Park: hot, muggy, a little buggy, with scattered migrant and resident birds. Seen were the following:

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher-25
Ovenbird-9
Northern Parula-7
Black-throated Blue Warbler-1
Yellow-throated Warbler-3
Prairie Warbler-6
Black-and-white Warbler-3
American Redstart-3
Worm-eating Warbler-2
Summer Tanager-1
