I visited Barnes for about 90 minutes this afternoon on my way home from work. Most of the birds I found were outside the nature center area, and included:
White-crowned Pigeon
Common Nighthawk
Red-eyed Vireo
Purple Martin
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Ovenbird
Northern Parula
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
Summer Tanager
