Sorry, I have no time to elaborate on what an amazing time it was canoeing around snake bight on Sunday...only one suggestion, get down there (grab a friend) and rent a canoe or (go solo) and rent a kayak and see for yourself the wonderful magic of Snake Bight via Florida Bay. There's really nothing like the sound of over 1000 shorebirds in a mixed flock streaming all around your canoe as if you were just a piece of driftwood lunking around the bay...

ps. the numbers of "abundant" birds are VERY underestimated, as I spent much more time photographing birds than I did "birdwatching". I'll post the pics as soon as I scan them.
