According to the site with the photo, it's a
Superb Starling (Spreo superbus).
I never saw one in south Florida, I would guess it's an escaped cage bird. Are they sold in the exotic bird trade as pets??
The old bird book I originally found it pictured in says "It inhabits the steppes and savanahs of central Africa, building round domed nests of twigs in bushes or treetops and occuring in flocks, as a rule, on the ground."
