This morning I found a La Sagra's Flycatcher in Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. It is easily seen and is staying midlevel. It calls 4-5 times every 10 minutes or so. Listen for the whistle-like "wheet." The cinnamon edging on the wings is visible, but the tail is tattered and I could not see any color on it. There is much less yellow wash (from my view this morning) than the recent bird at Barnes.

As you enter the park, turn right and park in the lot for No Name Harbor. Enter the path near the dumpster and walk up the "hill." At the coral rock with the plaque, turn right and continue on the path ~50 ft. Look to the right in the Green Buttonwood, Sea Grape and Strangler Fig trees.

Lots of raptor activity in the same area, so if you get bored waiting, look for Cooper's, Sharp-shinned(2), Red-tailed (immature), Northern Harrier and Peregrine Falcon.
