Western Tanager at A D Barnes Park

Thirteen birders participated in this morning's TAS walk at A D Barnes Park. The highlight was a male Western Tanager, seen in an oak on the northwest side of the hammock in the southeast corner of the park. Other birds seen included:
Mottled Duck (flyover)
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Aratinga sp. (either Mitred or Red-masked Parakeets)
Eastern Wood-Pewee
Red-eyed Vireo
Barn Swallow
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Hill Myna
Ovenbird
Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
Summer Tanager
