The Fall, 2011 edition of the North American Migration Count (NAMC) takes place on Saturday, September 17. As the NAMC compiler for Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, I need the assistance of anyone who can find and identify birds so that we can cover as much of these counties as possible. Coverage may be individual or as a team. I don't assign anyone to cover a particular location; instead, you tell me which area you'd like to cover (even if it's just your backyard!) If you choose to cover a public area, I'll let you know if others have volunteered to cover the same area, so we can avoid double-counting birds. In order for your data to be used in the compilation, you must contact me VIA EMAIL before September 17 to tell me you plan to participate. Everyone who volunteers will be sent a tally sheet to record your sightings. At the conclusion of the count, participants should email completed tally sheets to me.

Hope you can participate!
