In my yard, cardinals are great; they're my youngest daughter's favorite bird. In a hammock or brush, while looking for migratory rarities, they are a distraction and at times a nuisance. Other nuisance birds that cause you to take a second look include:
Blue-gray Time-wasters
Gray Crapbirds
Mockingterds
Loggerhead Shrike-Kingbird
