When I was a kid... A very long time ago... I use to love watching the Cardinals at the feeders in my yard. I still think they are beautiful, but for some reason, I simply seem to almost ignore them now, due to their abundance.
Kind of like choosing to look at challenging objects in my telescope vs the easy object like the entire Messier catalogue. Give me an Abel Galaxy, the Pulsar in the Crab nebula or a Super Nova in another galaxy and I'm happy.... I like a challenge! ;-0
