Saw 2 sparrows today, both new to me for Everglades NP. Adult White-crowned and 1st winter Chipping - both were near the Iori building on research road, between 4:00 and 5:00pm (Sunday). I also stopped briefly by the pumping station south of Chekika this afternoon. The grass is much taller than last year so it is more difficult to see what's there, but a flock of about 30 Blue-winged Teal flew around for a minute before disappearing back into the grass. Definitely worth a look for someone with patience and a good scope.
