I checked A.D. Barnes Park this morning for about an hour and a half to see if the west winds brought any interesting birds. Overall number of migrants was high, but there was nothing especially unusual for this time. A single Chuck-will's-widow flushed inside the hammock was my first for the fall migration season:
Chuck-will's-widow
Great Crested Flycatcher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo 12
Purple Martin
Barn Swallow 4
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 22
Ovenbird
Worm-eating Warbler 2
Black-and-white Warbler 2
American Redstart 3
Northern Parula 8
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler 5
Prairie Warbler 4
