Seven Swallow -tail KItes in Davie

For the past several years there has been an almost daily soaring of Swallow-tail Kites in Davie around SW 148th Avenue and Sterling Road. This past year I only observed a pair on 2/28 and two pairs on 3/10. However, at 6:00 p.m. today, there were seven Swallow-tail Kites circling overhead. I guess that they are getting ready to head south since they usually leave in July.
