I just read a post on the ENP Chat Board that 3 BBWDs have been seen at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Palm Beach County. Dee, who occasionally posts on the TAS board, photographed them.

While heading up to have some fun at the Rapids Water Park in West Palm Beach on the 3rd, while heading north on the Turnpike, I saw what I believed to be a whistling-duck species alone in a rather large and vegetated pond just before the exit to the West Palm Beach service station. I didn't get a good look at the bird, but by brief looks at the silhouette, it looked more like a whistling-duck species rather than a Mottled Duck. Perhaps it was a Black-bellied, as I was only a few miles northeast of Wakodahatchee.

This site tends to be a litlle "spammy" at times, so expect a few pop ups here and there. Other than that, it is a good site to check on when things get birdier in a couple weeks.
