It's really a beautiful little park, very much cared for and not the wild forboding thicket that it appears from the road. There's even a lovely old house from the 40's on the property.
As the previous poster said, it's light on bird activity but there are several rare tree species there (black ironwood, Gulf licaria, etc.), a fox, a turtle and many many spiders. It really is a fascinating and poignant look at the last remnant of Brickell Hammock.
