not a lot different after the storm, but the lack of visitors made the birding a little better. all 3 falcons were seen perched, as well as eagles, a harrier, osprey, and hawks (sharp-shinned, short-tailed and red-shouldered). total # of buntings was about 50, the majority were painted. only 2 sparrows were around - 1 clay-colored and 1 savannah. other notables include western kingbird and 3 baltimore orioles, plus the usual suite of warblers. yesterday the lark sparrow was still along the road near 9 mile pond. all for now...
