American Oystercatchers, Miami Beach 8/14

Hi All,

I had 2 American Oystercatchers flying up Miami Beach on 8/14, flying N about 30 feet in the air, viewed from the boardwalk near the Eden Roc hotel at about 5pm. I was not aware this was was an unusual sighting until I saw on ebird.org that there are no records from Miami-Dade on that database, so apologies for the late post of this sighting. Hopefully the birds are still around somewhere, though I didn't see them yesterday.
