In case there's anyone who doesn't read Floridabirds, here's the Boynton report.

After reading Brian Hope's post about yesterday's pelagics at Boynton Inlet, Brian Rapoza and I headed up there today to see what we could find (and escape the rainy weather in Miami).

One juv. Sabine's Gull was hanging around the inlet, variously flying, sitting on the beach, and sitting on the jetty. Needless to say, we got excellent looks! Photos from 15-20 feet, too.

A number of shearwaters flew by while we were there. They came in two sizes, the small short-winged Audubon's Shearwaters (5+4+2=11 total), and larger shearwaters. All of the large shearwaters that we could ID were Cory's, and we don't have any reason to believe there were any others present. We didn't count the Cory's, but I would guess we saw 25+. One dark immature Pomarine Jaeger chased a Royal Tern.

There were also plenty of Gannets, ranging from 1st year to adult. At least two of the immatures came reasonably close.
