Went is search of year-birds and county year-birds this morning. Started at Long Pine Key in hopes of Bobwhite but dipped. Got some of the expected birds amongst the many mosquitoes.

I then met up with Bill B. at the Annex where the gate was closed, but we walked in. Not much to added, but on our way out we got a Prothonotary Warbler. At Lucky Hammock we got a Red-eyed Vireo, then across the fence just before the main park road we got a Solitary Sandpiper and 4 Orchard Orioles. n While there, we heard a Bobwhite calling from the field on the Lucky Hammock side. Go feeger.

We then checked out the ag fields near 217 Ave. From the intersection of 9336 and 217, there were two Upland Sandpipers in the field to the southwest at scope distance. I birded the backroads on the way back and finished at the landfill, but shorebird numbers were down from two days ago.

Highlights for the morning:

Black-bellied Whistling Duck (4, 328 st. east of 137 Ave)
Swallow-tailed Kite
Solitary Sandpiper (here you go Vince)
Upland Sandpiper (2)
Cliff, Bank, Barn and Cave Swallows
Prothonotary, Parula, Yellow-throated, Pine, and Worm-eating Warblers
Orchard Orioles (4)
