The sod farms and flooded fields mentioned in recent posts are in western Palm Beach County. From I-95 in West Palm Beach, take Southern Boulevard west about 8 miles to where it becomes US 441. Continue west about 11.5 miles to CR 880. Turn left and drive west towards Belle Glade. Sod fields will be all along CR 880. Side roads such as Gladeview Road (about 3 miles from the CR880/US 441 intersection) and Brown's Farm Road (about 14 miles from the intersection) will take you to flooded fields. There are also flooded fields along CR 880 about 1.5 miles east of Duda Road, just before reaching Belle Glade.
The Belle Glade area can also be reached from US 27. Sod farms and flooded fields can be found on the east side of US 27, beginning about 12 miles north of the Palm Beach/Broward county line. Turn right on CR 827 to get to Belle Glade, then right on CR 880 to reach the areas mentioned above.
