They're quite rare in summer, rarer than Robins, but less rare that Hermit Thrushes. Stevenson and Anderson mention ca. 10 summer reports anywhere in Florida. 2 additional reports appeared in FFN in the 90s. Most summer sightings are from the panhandle. Only one was in Monroe county, at Whale Harbor on June 27, 1954.
