The Common Myna is behind the Burger King in Florida City right before you head into the Keys. No walking involved.
This time of year the Grey Kingbirds are all over Miami. At least I'm seeing a lot of them on Miami Beach and at Bill Baggs on Key Biscayne.
I could clue you in on where to see the different parakeets on Miami Beach without any walking involved and close to good eateries for you dad if your interested...
