Today I found two fuzzy juvenile Killdeer running along the soccer field of Miami Country Day School in Miami Shores. I was walking along the sidewalk and the way both the adults were acting, it was obvious that there were chicks around. Never seen anything as adorable as those little guys. Boy can they run fast. With their long legs, they resemble warbler-sized ostriches.
