Loei and I stopped at the Palm Beach sod fields on Friday as we headed down to Key Largo. Saw many avocets and the expected shorebirds, but nothing short-grassed. Will be checking again this morning as we head north.

We saw three redstarts, a Louisiana Waterthrush, two Black-and-whites, a half dozen Yellow-throateds, Northern Parulas and a mess of Prairies along Card Sound Road on Sunday. Nice morning.

Mangrove Cuckoo and Black-whiskered Vireos made our day later in the morning at north Key Largo.

Man, there are an awful lot of doves and pigeons in the Keys this summer.
