We had a day with low numbers but good variety, heading out to 90NM off Ponce Inlet. Best birds were a Black-capped Petrel at 90 NM, and this White-tailed Tropicbird at about 60 NM out. We also had excellent non-bird sightings, including beaked whales (species TBD), pygmy sperm whales, spotted dolphin, ocean sunfish, and a HUUGE swordfish basking on the surface. I've caught tons of these, and by my estimate this one was easily over 500 lbs in weight, or over 12 feet long.

Species seen:

Black-capped Petrel
Cory's Shearwater
Audubon's Shearwater
Wilson's Storm-Petrel
Band-rumped Storm-Petrel
White-tailed Tropicbird
Brown Booby
Red-necked Phalarope
Brown Noddy
Sooty Tern
Bridled Tern
