Canadian birder Ross Wood reported Smooth-billed Ani on 9 July near the Miami Airport. His report: "I was staying at the Double Tree Hotel close to the airport, and the bird was behind a fence in scrubby habitat along a railway line I believe."
If anyone is in the area, it might be worthwhile to check it out. Sorry for the late report but I just received it.
