There's a Louisiana Waterthrush at Green Cay today at the "alligator hole" across from our nesting alligator.

Also I birded the PBC EAA this weekend and had 52 species in total for the day count. Highlights included: Greater Yellowlegs, Lesser Yellowlegs, Short-billed Dowitcher, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Black Tern, White Pelican, 100+Roseate Spoonbill, 300+Wood Storks, and 100+Common Nighthawk. All these birds were (except the 100+CONI of course) at the fields on Hatton Hwy off of Gator Blvd. There is some road construction happening so the highway is blocked off on Hatton Hwy wich makes it much easier to bird without cars passing by.

Take CR 880 to Sam Senter Rd. (these fields were busy as well). Then take Sam Senter to Gator Blvd. Or from Belle Glad take CR 880 to Duda Farms to Gator Hwy heading east.
