No, Sartorious, the bird wasn't involved in the killdeer plight of a few weeks past. Matter of fact this bird was at Eco-pond, Everglades National Park.

And I have no idea what a Bahama Mama drink is, and don't care either.

And I have three field guides; Thayers, Kale and Maehr, and National Audubon Society. I mean to add Pranty next time I run across it.

And this bird had particularly dark coloration, and was slightly larger than other mockingbirds I have seen in the last 50 years. I just thought I would see what some other birders thought about it. Birders generally being cordial, helpful, happy type people.
