Despite fairly strong winds, I was able to hear the "wheet" call and locate the La Sagra's Flycatcher at 2:15 P.M. The bird was halfway down the cat path posing on a bare limb. Some 45 minutes later it was calling from the middle circle and east picnic area. Good birding...
