With the dropping water levels a visit to the southeast corner of WCA 2B by Markham Park seemed worthwhile. The area usually has large concentrations of waders when that WCA starts to go dry. Markham Park is located north of SR 84 at the north end of Weston Rd. The access to WCA 2B is through the nature trail area at the southwest corner of the park. The following birds were seen from within 1/2 mile of the SE corner of WCA 2B this morning.
