Added a C. Ground-Dove in El Portal, adjacent to Miami Shores, this afternoon. This is where I had my first Florida Ground-Dove years ago, in the same area. The only suburb I know in S. Florida where they might be regular. With a White-winged Dove in Sweetwater today I saw all regularly occuring pigeons and doves in S. Florida. Also in Sweetwater, Gray Kingbird and Loggerhead Shrike.
A Cooper's Hawk ambushed a pair of Monk Parakeets in Kendall today and barely missed.
