Today I was on an all-day split-charter fishing trip out of Robbie's Marina in Islamorada. The fishing was good, and so were some of the birds. Most of them were found well offshore, in water 600+ feet deep.
Sooty Tern (scores of them, particularly over schools of skipjack)
Bridled Tern 30
Brown Noddy 1
Audubon's Shearwater 4 (all singles)
Cory's Shearwater 2 (both singles)
Magnificent Frigatebird 2
