A great surprise! The otter have returned to Hoechoka Hammock. A pair with two pups hunted the three SFWMD canals that surround the site presenting many photo ops. The mottled, roen, and pekin ducks were not impressed however. Also seen this morning a female raccoon with three babies out for their first hunt, a coopers hawk with a dead mourning dove, and a small corn snake.
