The simple way to get to Key Largo Hammocks Botanical State Park (not a garden) is to take US 1 to Key Largo. When US 1 rejoins Card Sound Rd by the Circle K, turn left on Card Sound. Key Largo Hammocks is on the right, just past Loquat (about 1/2 mile). There is now a fee (honor system) to visit the site.
At least 2 Mangrove Cuckoos have been present there recently..
