I am waiting for word from anyone in the Davie area about purple martins forming in their premigratory roost. They usually gather at the Tower Shoppes off University. It is quite a site with about 10,000 to 20,000 birds gathering right before dark.
The roost has been there for the last couple of years and want to know when the roost starts again this year.
Hope anyone local can help.
