Today while doing spoonbill work on FL Bay Brynne Langan and I spotted and chased down 3 Parasitic Jaegers that were flying (fast) up the keys (though 2 or 3 miles inside the bay). They were easily doing over 40mph, it was rather impressive. One of the three was a breeding plumage adult, showing the longer pointed central tail feathers, making the ID fairly straight forward (thankfully). The other two were subadults.
